Summary: You see Animal with the "blue button" (Medal of Honor). This is the incident that earned him the Medal. Over the skies of North Korea, a TARPS F-14 goes down necessitating a rescue that the Deputy Air Wing Commander objects to. The CAG thinks its dangerous but orders a rescue. JAG Investigation into Animal's MOH eligibility started by RADM Chegwidden.

Warning: This fic is probably the one that will have the "Stolen Valor Sticklers" screaming like a bunch of screaming "mimis".  You know what.  If you can't tell the difference between a piece of written fiction and a real person, then I don't know what to do for you, other than tell you to go cuddle a cute little teddy bear in fatigues, go diddle yourselves or think happy thoughts while sticking your you know what through a knothole.  I have tried to write the character in a way that would typify a Medal of Honor recipient's actions short of outright killing the character in the fiction.  I have no patience nor the time to explain REAL versus NOT REAL to anybody of that ilk.
